Nope! Not! NEVER! We are a direct producers market that only works with producers directly growing and making their products. Failure to abide by this policy will result in termination of participation.
The markets main focus is to address food insecurity in the food desert while supporting local agriculture, many are not certified organic because they are hobbyist gardeners and/or small farms without the resources to get officially certified.
Each gardener/farm producer will have a “growing practices” sheet clipped to their booth that defines how they are categorized. Our goal is to have a mix of conventional, sustainable, certified naturally grown and certified organic producers.
We believe locally grown food should be available to all people. We will file the necessary paper work to ensure that these payment forms are accepted at our market.
Please send all inquiries about sponsoring the market to Caressa Brown at firstname.lastname@example.org or 937-416-1388. We have a sponsorship packet and are interested in working with sponsors that are mission aligned with Veggie Soul: The Urban Farmers' Market. Not every offer of sponsorship will be accepted.
We will featured (1) nonprofit outreach booth every week.

Volunteers support on-site operations and off-site efforts of the market. Additional details are coming soon.
